About the Job:

 

CORIX is seeking a business – oriented Proposals and Communications Manager to be based out of our Langley office. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract position.  The primary responsibilities of this position are to continuously improve content, and manage and improve business development efficiency around responses to proposals, qualifications, and expressions of interest. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of proposal development, business writing, and editing experience and possess the ability to handle multiple projects while managing a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of Proposal Specialists who respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFls, and EOI’s.
  • Reviews and manages proposal responses in keeping with proposal requirements and provides writing, editing, and strategic communications expertise and support.
  • Provides communications guidance and oversight to internal and external communications plans and key messages
  • Develops written content for a variety of deliverables as needed, including internal and external corporate communications, website, and print materials.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of proposal management experience
  • 3 to 5 years of business writing, proofing, and editing experience
  • 3 to 5 years of team management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word
  • Solid working knowledge in all other Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint would be an asset
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to change priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Solid attention to detail and business skills
  • APMP Certification or active pursuit of would be a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
